Child protection The Designcord cable reels are fit with child protection on the socket outlets. Overheating protection The cable reel has an overheating protection with reset switch. This protection makes the cable reel switch off in case the reels gets too warm. When this happens all plugs should be removed from the reel and the reset button should be pressed once the reel is cooled down. Then it is ready to be used again. Hanging hook The cable reel has an expandible metal hook you can use to hang the reel to one of the steps of your ladder for example. A very usefull feature... Rolling guiders The cable entrence/exit is fitted with 4 rolling guiders. These guiders minimise any resistance during winding or rewinding and make sure the cable enters/exits smoothly in and out of the reel. Dirt exit openings It may happen that there is some sand or dirt attached to your cables when you rewind it. Through the openings in the body this dirt falls out of the reel easily.
